Instead of celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) once a year, how about living it every day?
This year’s theme is just predestined for this purpose “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”. This highlights the role of innovative technologies for gender equality. Worldwide, however, only 22% of the artificial intelligence workers are women according to UN Women. So there is still much to be done.
THANK YOU to everyone who is already making every day IDW by, for example:
- fostering knowledge transfer with digital tools, like Ramona Lange, Carin Eisenstein & team with the Finance-FEM-Lab of jumpp & J.P. Morgan.
- partnering with UN Women to ensure more Women in AI & Robotics, like Sheila Beladinejad, Prof. Dr. Alexandra Wuttig & team.
- building initiatives for more women in leadership positions, like Monika Schulz-Strelow, Prof. Dr. Anja Seng with FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V.!
By the way, until 15 March you can nominate the successor of the year for the she succeeds award of the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs (VdU). Oh, and for 23-25 April we recommend the Global Female Leaders – Changemaker Forum, the Davos for Female Executives.
