Weissenberger-Eibl.

Professor Weissenberger-Eibl heads the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe and holds the chair for Innovation and Technology Management at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Technology Management and Innovation at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

Stütz were invited by the ministry of economics of Baden-Württemberg to speak live on the Innovation Stage in the Porsche Arena Stuttgart on the topic of “Tools for Decision Intelligence“:

“Coinciding with the regional expansion, Google is also introducing new features to Bard. For example, the system can also read out the answers. This feature is now available in German and over 40 other languages. At the same time, you can also customize Bard’s responses to your own needs and set the tonality and style to different options.”

So says the current announcement directly from the dpa news channel, more on Google chatbot Bard now also speaks German in WirtschaftsWoche.

🤖 For all Swabians: “Google manager Krawczyk said in a conversation with the Deutsche Presse-Agentur, all functions of Bard would continue to be offered free of charge.”

OpenAI has just announced: “Starting today, all paying API customers have access to GPT-4. In March, we introduced the ChatGPT API, and earlier this month we released our first updates to the chat-based models. We envision a future where chat-based models can support any use case.

Today we’re announcing a deprecation plan for older models of the Completions API, and recommend that users adopt the Chat Completions API.

Based on the stability and readiness of these models for production-scale use, we are also making the GPT-3.5 Turbo, DALL·E and Whisper APIs generally available.

We are working on safely enabling fine-tuning for GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 Turbo and expect this feature to be available later this year.” Have a look at it!

According to an announcement by OpenAI, Plus users will be able to enjoy two new functions this week. These can be activated in the settings under “Beta Features”.

1. Web browsing: With this, the training data of ChatGPT will not become more up-to-date, but the AI will then be able to search for information on the web independently and thus also answer current questions.

2. Plug-ins: This switch enables extensions to ChatGPT. Third-party plug-ins can then be used; the first ones are already available from Expedia, Klarna or Zapier. The plug-ins can be easily added via a kind of AppStore.

With the new functions, ChatGPT will also function more like a search engine because it will include current information. In addition, the range of functions will be significantly expanded via the Plugins.
