In a comparatively short announcement, the AI company OpenAI, which has been plagued by management chaos, has announced that ChatGPT Voice is now freely available to all users:

ChatGPT with voice is now available to all free users. Download the app on your phone and tap the headphones icon to start a conversation.

The company first introduced voice control about two months ago, but initially as a feature for Plus and Enterprise subscription customers. Now a subscription is no longer required to use it.
