As CEO of IDEASCANNER, Melanie Stütz makes business ideas quickly measurable for the first time. With IDEASCANNER SaaS, the “pre-flight check” for business models, she drives entrepreneurial thinking in corporate innovation and entrepreneurship education. Melanie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and has a business and data science background. She is an entrepreneur, adventurer and pilot.
As part of the Weltflug.tv co-production with ARD, she was the first female pilot to fly across five continents in a “flying car” together with her husband, Andreas G. Stütz. For that matter, they worked together with the children’s charity terre des hommes to promote the education of children worldwide. Previously, she worked at Microsoft’s German headquarters, at Unisys in Madrid, at Siemens in Regensburg, at an advertising agency in Beijing and at a company builder in Munich.
Since 2020, Mel has been evaluating business ideas and pitches as a jury member, mentor and advisor, including for the European Commission’s #EUvsVirus Hackathon, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s MIT COVID-19 Challenge, and Women in AI & Robotics’ AccelerateEU program. She also holds various advisory board positions. In 2022, the Global AI Hub awarded her as one of the “Top 50 Thought Leaders to Influence Your Mind“.
