Andreas G. Stütz | IDEASCANNER Expert

Andreas G. Stütz has been an IT and media entrepreneur, pilot and inventor with several patents for over 20 years. During his studies at the University of Passau, he developed the first concept of a group-wide information marketplace for the CEO of Daimler. After holding positions at Mercedes-Benz Japan in Tokyo and Dresdner Bank Securities in New York City (USA), he successfully founded several IT companies. Andreas and his companies have received prestigious awards, such as the StartUp Award by stern, Sparkassen and McKinsey, which was presented to him by Angela Merkel.

Together with his wife Mel, he was co-pilot and author of Weltflug – The Gyroplane Dream, the first world trip in a “flying car”. He used the publicity with the book and the Weltflug.tv film to raise money for the education of disadvantaged children. As a business angel, Andreas is part of the “MunichAngels” investor group. Since 2019, he has been a mentor for evaluating business ideas at the world’s largest early-stage startup accelerator, the Founder Institute.

In recent years, his research into what has a lasting impact on the value of companies has led to the “Periodic Table of Business Strategy”. With IDEASCANNER Expert, he and his team of experts put current business models to the test and show how company value can be increased.

Melanie Stütz | IDEASCANNER SaaS

As CEO of IDEASCANNER, Melanie Stütz makes business ideas quickly measurable for the first time. With IDEASCANNER SaaS, the “pre-flight check” for business ideas, she drives entrepreneurial thinking in corporate innovation and entrepreneurship education. Melanie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and has a business and data science background. She is an entrepreneur, adventurer and pilot. 

As part of the Weltflug.tv co-production with ARD, she was the first female pilot to fly across five continents in a “flying car” together with her husband, Andreas G. Stütz. For that matter, they worked together with the children’s charity terre des hommes to promote the education of children worldwide. Previously, she worked at Microsoft’s German headquarters, at Unisys in Madrid, at Siemens in Regensburg, at an advertising agency in Beijing and at a company builder in Munich.

Since 2020, Mel has been evaluating business ideas and pitches as a jury member, partner and digital advisor, including for the European Commission’s #EUvsVirus Hackathon, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s MIT COVID-19 Challenge, and Women in AI & Robotics’ AccelerateEU program. She also holds various advisory board positions. In 2022, the Global AI Hub awarded her as one of the “Top 50 Thought Leaders to Influence Your Mind“.
